I gotta say, I'm a bit rusty when it comes to being a shutterbug. I put down the camera for about a year, only to pick it up once in a while. But that year was a bit stifling, to say the least. I went straight into my math and science courses, completely neglecting the arts. I was flooded with work; and all-nighters were very commonplace. Not much room for inspiration.
But this year is a new one! New classes, new roommate, new room, and new hobbies! I still have mostly math and science on my plate (I'm a chem/math major FTW), but outside of that, I'm exploring some new things like dance and cooking and playing with beard styles.
So with all that going on, I'm getting back into my roots and I've picked up the camera once more. It's so exhilarating! But my policies still hold: no editing beyond cropping and/or anything you can do in a darkroom (like saturation and contrast control).
Hopefully I'll be able to find the time to add a photo class or something to that effect and really get pushed into the game. Until that happens, just some hobby shots!
Cheers,
Kyle

I'm going to Pitzer in Claremont, and taking out some pretty hefty loans to do it. But I'm studying chemistry and math as a double major.
